Enter Osirys Mendez and Sabrina Vela. As managing partners at Mendez Vela Design Collection, they shared a creative vision that has grown into Miami’s premier boutique interior design firm, which is celebrated for its glamorous, innovative, concept-driven spaces. “Our mission is to design and craft beautiful, functional, highly personal environments that reflect the way-out sophisticated clients want to live,” Vela says. To achieve this, they apply their unique design process that emphasizes strict attention to detail on every one of their projects. Mendez adds, “This results in elevated, inspired environments where our cosmopolitan clientele love living, working and playing.”

A few significant milestones include the important relationships we’ve established with Koket, DelighttFULL and Versace, and serving as guest designers for Fendi Casa through the Luxury Living showroom. Additionally, attending prestigious events like Maision & Objet in Paris and Salone Del Mobile in Milan has allowed us to stay at the forefront of design trends, network with fellow professionals and build a reputation as knowledgeable and influential figures in the industry.

What’s New? We’re proud to introduce our new partner, Adam Medal, who has a master’s in architecture from FIU and will be introducing new technology such as virtual project management software and 3D virtual augmented reality that will help our clients visualize how furniture, décor and design elements will look and feel in their spaces.
