Inspired by Fisher Island’s stunning water views, Mendez Vela created a bright yet relaxed environment. The complex renovation involved carving out an open space by removing a partition wall that separated the kitchen and living room. Mendez Vela then installed an island that seats three along with custom, streamlined pantry and cabinets.  The closet in the master bedroom was designed by transforming two his-and-her closets into one grand master walk-in.

Mendez Vela curated all of furnishings and art to create a serene sanctuary for a New York couple. The team effortlessly navigated the project’s greatest challenge: the exacting construction guidelines of Fisher Island.  Its seamless execution is a testament to Mendez Vela’s efficient coordination and meticulous attention to detail.
